PUR Glues

SKU DCOLL2
Hot Melt glues for perfect binding divides into two major categories: EVA based and PUR based. Hot glues DCA713 and DCA715, PUR-based glue (Reactive Polyurethane), must be heated to a temperature of 130/140°C, binds after 12/24 hours and can not be re-melted. The PUR glue, thanks to the particular chemical reaction due to the presence of moisture both in the glue itself and in the paper, guarantees the strongest seal among all Hot Melt glues. It is also resistant to the oil contained in the printing ink and can be used both on common stocks and heavy coated paper and cardboard. DCA713 and DCA715 glues are supplied in 2 kg cans (recommended for use on PUR paperbacks with a hermetic tank).
